Hello. I apologize if this thread is closed. I too have a Optiplex 7020 SFF. I see you have a 1050Ti. I would like either that or a AMD Radeon RX 560 LP. The problem I can forsee is the x16 PCI-E slot is too close to the power supply. This basically means you cannot use a dual slot card even though you have two slots free. So in your opinion what would be the best scenario? Dual slot GPU in the x4 PCI-E slot, or a single slot GPU in the x16 PCI-E slot?  Which one would provide the best performance for similiar spec cards? Thank you!

Thank you for the reply. I see the GT 1030 is a very viable option in the SFF for the optiplex. I was really hoping to get the best solution in reference to my previous post. Specifically about the x4 slot versus the x16 slot. In the video linked he installs the GT 1030 in the x4 PCI-E slot and not the x16 slot. I might as well get the 1050Ti or the Radeon RX 560 since those have to be installed in the x4 slot. Or perhap a single slot card in the x16 slot. I wonder which is the best quality. 

Stock power supply on ANY 7020 DOES NOT SUPPORT 75W card.

So GT1030 is the ONLY option.

If you want to upgrade the 7020 you can use a Short 8.4 inch or less card and upgrade the power supply.

The optional 365w power supply is ONLY an option for the TOWER.

There are no options like that for Desktop or SFF.

The power supply is PROPRIETARY 8 pin vs 24 pin. T1700 has the same issue as the CAB359 works for that as well.

You would not be able to fit an evga 700BR inside the SFF case however and the video slot only allows single slot wide cards.

The tower can use EVGA 700BR power supply and Moddiy CAB359 adapter.

Then Short 1050 or 1060 like the Zotac Mini series can be used.

12 inch long 2 fan and 3 fan cards will not physically go into the case.

Any video cards that are not DELL versions require SECURE BOOT OFF in order to work.

You are correct GT1030 low profile its best option. I got this one  

Also, upgraded PSU from Dells XE2 they are 315 W ! They are almost same and  fit with no issue.
