OptiPlex 7080, remove BIOS password

Greetings,

I got a Dell OptiPlex 7080. My son added a BIOS admin password and can't remember it. How can remove it? I can’t find any jumper on the motherboard? I removed the battery and the power cord for 20 seconds. while pressing power bottom to drain the memory. I tried the website for bios-pwd org , nothing working.

the word is you have to call Dell to give ownership proof then they can remove it for you.

actually not sure.  I think Dell keeps a record of the name of the person/company who bought the PC.  but it is worth trying chat with Dell and see what they can do.

for older model Dell desktop you can also try clear password jumper on motherboard.  I am not sure 7080 motherboard has such jumper any more.
