I'd like to put some RGB lighting inside an Optiplex 7010 MT by installing a 5V USB-powered LED STRIP on the motherboard's 9 pin internal USB header. Will this work or should I loop the usb out to one of the rear I/O USB sockets? The lighting kit I've got is designed to stick on the back of a TV. The remote control uses a radio signal and doesn't need direct line of sight. I've got a perspex side panel so the internals are visible.
