Silent Optiplex Micro
I am committed to make this little machine completely silent as I feel this is the only cons I can think of.
I have been thinking to replace the fan with one totally silent (Noctua) but it seems rather difficult.
Other option is to test it fanless, Is it good enough?
Lastly, use a fan speed controller. I do not see why the fan is on when temps are around 30s.
Any good suggestions?

Re: do not see why the fan is on when temps are around 30s.
it probably needs a little air flow to keep it around 30. try disconnect power to fan and your may see temp spike in this micro case. by totally silent you probably meant deadly quiet. if you have an external larger and quieter fan that blows air across micro it might do some trick.
