Hi. I have a T610 with a single Xeon E5504 I want to upgrade this,After what I understand this is a 11g poweredge server, and does not support 130w cpu. But will dual X5670 be supported?Since this is 95w
You are incorrect on that the T610 won't support 130W processors, as I show the X5647, X5687, and the X5690 are all supported on the server, all of which are 130W processors. Now this was an added support after the time of release, so I would be certain that the server is completely up to date before upgrading.
Hope this helps.

Looking at your screenshot the server is drastically out of date, as the BIOS alone is 14 updates behind (4 of which are marked as urgent). What I would highly recommend doing is updating the servers BIOS and iDrac together, but I wouldn't jump to the most recent, but instead walk them up to current together. I would suggest you don't skip any marked urgent or more than about 3 at a time. You also don't want to walk up just the BIOS and not walk the iDrac up as well, so I would go BIOS update, iDrac, then bios and so on. You can find all the BIOS and iDrac version here.
