T340 adding storage
Hi,
I am looking to order a T340, but the hard drive prices from dell are completely ridiculous. So my plan is to get the server configured, and order the hard drives separately. My question is, if I order the 8 drive hot plug chasis, does it come pre-loaded with drive caddys? Or would I have to purchase the drive caddys separately?

The caddies are sold individually. They just gave me a quote with the extra caddies included. SKU is 58CWC. I'm not sure if you can order them from the website, but you can get them.

Snyper1982,
Unfortunately the caddies aren't included with the chassis, but are included with the hard drive order. So if you order a drive for the server the caddy would come with the drive, and also the caddies aren't sold individually.
Hope this helps answer your question.
