Error: Inventory collection failed during upgrade
Attempting to upgrade the BIOS on a PE2850 with a new installation of Windows 2000 results in that error message.
PE2850_BIOS_WIN_A05.EXE
Also receive error messages (Inventory collection failed) when attempting to load BMC firmware:
ESM_FRMW_WIN_R119280.EXE
RAID_FRMW_WIN_R126663.EXE
Any shove in the right direction would be appreciated.

- This issue was resolved by the removal of the followig registry key value:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor\Autorun
At somepoint, this key was populated with a value that the installation packages did not behave properly after that point.Reply
