Computer not recognising printer
I have a Dell 1230C colour laser printer. I was updating the firmware on the printer and lost power. The computer will not recognise the printer is plugged in or even turned on. Any suggestions as to how this problem can be solved, Thanks

I do not know of a means to fix this. The CMOS chip in the printer is corrupt. If under warranty, Dell can replace the printer.
