Hi. I just recently bought a new computer with windows 7 64bit and I wanted to install the dell 966 aio printer I had used with my previous computer. At first everything was ok. The computer recognized it and I was able to install the drivers and get it working. Just recently, I went to go print a document and all of a sudden its saying that the printer is not connected. I uninstalled / reinstalled the drivers and it is still saying that the printer isn't connected. And every time I unplug/plug the usb wire, it tells me this: http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/9082/failv.jpg . I even went as far as to reformat the computer and it still won't recognize it. I've also tried different usb ports with no luck. And I've also tested the printer on a laptop and another pc we have and it works perfect and gets detected as soon as I plug it in. This is really frustrating!
Hello again. I'm back unfortunately. Same thing seemed to have happened. Under the driver folder, there was a diagnostic tool called sysinfo. I went ahead and ran that and it made a .txt file.

manganga,
Try reinstalling the printer using the instructions located at...
966 Photo All-In-One Printer owners thread (W7)
Using the patch, manually deleting the printer drivers and installing the printer in the compatibility mode should help.
