It's my turn...it's a V525w printer.....I attempted (for the first time) to scan a document, and right off the bat- the scan part of the software at the Dell Printer Home will not open. You can see that something tries to happen, but nothing comes up. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, and still the same thing. I tried at the printer and still nothing. The printer software works fine, I have Abbyy FineReader 9.0, but never use it. I use Avast's security suite, but turning off the firewall did nothing to help. I use the printer with a Inspiron All-In-One computer 2023.I'm not sure what else I can do. Any ideas?
