Lexmark 1270 not working

Hi

Has anyone had success getting a Lexmark x1270 multi function printer to work on Windows 7 Home 64bit? I'm using the cjq1200Win7en.exe driver Version: 1.0.11.3. The driver installs and in the setup the printer prints the alignment page. But after that will not print. Any ideas?

    Rob_Cambo,

     

    First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs in the queue.

     

    Disconnect the printer.

     

    Uninstall the printer., start, control panel, programs and features, your printer, uninstall.

     

    Restart your computer.

     

    Was this computer upgraded to Window 7 64-bit or did it come with Windows 7?

     

    Try downloading the Vista 64-bit drivers from Lexmark's Website. Install the Vista 64-bit drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Conect the printer at this time(powered on)

     

    Remember virus programs and firewalls will block communications.
