paper alignment question
Our office has the Dell 1720dn laser printer. I have an already-printed page that I need to print additional wording on. The problem I'm having is getting things to line up exactly. I've done "trial runs", and the results vary quite a bit, a little side to side, some up and down. I've tried putting the printed page in the paper drawer and in the slot feeder. Neither seems to give consistent results. Is there anything I can do to get a consistent result? I have only one shot at getting this right. Help?!
Thanks,
Julie

Cut and pate your document into a text editor such as Notepad and test from there. If you don't get consistancy from Notepad, romove and reseat the toner/drum. If you get consistancy, cut and pate your doc into a new file from Notepad and set your page printing options.
