Printer Photo 966

I recently purchased 4 printer cartridges (2 colour and 2 black) for my Phot 966 printer.  Its an older printer but I'm happy with it and its sufficent for my business. However, because of what appears to be a faulty printer cartridge my whole printer system is now not working. I have tried both colour cartridges - neither of them work. I call Dell Tech Support and spent 26 minutes on the phone trying to get the issue sorted but to no avail. The man in Tech Support said that he was transferring me to warranty to have the printer cartridges replaced but I never got put through to anybody. I still had the old spent cartridge so I've put that back in to the printer now.   I am still getting the same error message 1203 and I can't print, copy or scan. This is completely unsatisfactory - I cannot run a business this way. It now appears that a faulty printer cartridge refill has somehow scuppered my whole printer and I'm now without any access to a printer. Has anybody else had any luck in sorting error code 1203?

    margueritemarch,

Error 1203 is a very interesting cartridge error. It means your catridges overflow even from brand new catridges after several prints.

It sounds like you have faulty Dell Series 7 ink cartridge(s). Take them to the place of purchase for a replacement. If purchased from Dell, there should be a phone number on the packaging list. If you cannot find the number, then maybe a Dell member will be by shortly to help you.
