DMX.EXE application error

When I put a DVD in the drive I get the following application error.

"The application failied to initialize properly (0xc0000135).  Click on OK to terminate the application."

When I go to the control panel to repair the program, it asks for the "Dell Cine Player Disk"  which did not come with my computer.

Any ideas how to get Cine Player to work?

I have the same problem. I am trying to repair dell cine player and it asks for the dell cine player disk too, which of course did not come with my system either. It says that cine player is installed but it does not initialize. I click on it and it starts but stops. what can I do?

I got mine to work.  I went to Microsoft windows update and scanned my computer.  There was one file, I do not remember which one, that the Cine player needs.

When I got the update from MS Windows the Cine player worked.
