Unable to install Works suite
A service tech. installed Win 98 2nd edition, to replace Win ME, for better operating. I cannot install Microsoft Works Suite 2001, without the 25 character cd key, which was not included with the software I got with my Dell. The software was already installed on my new Dell, but with the installation of Win 98 2nd edition, I have no Microsoft works software installed. Where can I get the 25 character code to reinstall my software. Thanks for your help
- Thanks for the help. I will try to call a Dell Tech, so far, I have not had any luck trying to talk to anyone, I keep getting swiched from one place to another, apparantly they are doing something with their phone numbers or something. Will try that again. Thanks again for your response.

Works Suite 2001 predates product activation technology. If you call Dell tech support they can provide you with a generic Product ID for Works after you have proved ownership of the software.
