The distance between the front of the front post and the back of the rear post is 17". The rails are made to accomodate a 28"-29" distance between the front and rear mount.
Because of post construction (image here) the locking clips do not fit properly. They can be accomodated by the inner set of holes on each post but these only have a 10 3/4" distance between them.
The server chasis is made attached cams designed to drop into rails supplied with the rails.
So my rails won't work with my rack and my server can't be attached to third party rails. At this point I can only see one option. Purchase a nonsliding tray made for the rack and place the server on it. I am open to suggestions or if a dell tech knows a rail kit that would work in this situation please let me know
You have two issues, installation depth and an obstruction caused by the shape of your rack post. Both of these can be easily resolved with a set of adapter brackets. This solution will allow you to use your Dell Rail Kits.
The first bracket that you will need is 9.7" long, P/N: 2UBRK-000C-6. The second bracket that you will need is 2" long, P/N: 2UBRK-200-FULL.
Your Rack is 17" deep + 9.7" + 2" = 28.7" of installation depth wich is within the range of your Dell Rail Kit. These brackets will also bypass the obstruction points on your rack. The one issue is that your server is not centered in your rack. There are other bracket options that will get it closer to center, but this combination is the most simple solution.

I'd suggest to check with iStarUSA to see what kind of rail solutions they offer for the Dell Poweredge R200.
