We are deploying MS SQL clusters with CX4 storage at multiple locations across the world. Replication Manager will be used to manage snapview clone/snap at all sites.

Which approach is better :

1. Install Replication Manager "Server" at each site along with sql agents and mount hosts.

VS

2. Install Replication Manager "Server" at headqaurters & only install sql agents and mount hosts at remote sites.

PS: I would prefer the second approach, but I am not sure if there are any latency considerations that need to be accounted for ( from my experience with ECC which decidedly is not recomended to be installed in such a distributed manner).
