I have installed newest dell secure content gateway 5.x vmware appliance (virtual edition). At proxy settings i can not connet to the internet. Need to import company root certificate to appliance. how can i do this? i did not see any hint in the docs. https://dl.dell.com/content/manual49116297-secure-connect-gateway-5-x-virtual-edition-release-notes.pdf?language=en-us
Currently installing a proxy certificate isn't supported. Secure Connect Gateway uses certificate-based authentication to the backend servers, so the proxy needs to be configured to disable SSL decryption on the connection from SCG to the required URLs, as seen here.
Let me know if this helps.

To add on to what DELL-Chris H mentioned, you would need to configure a proxy server (IP, port, and creds if applicable) onto your SCG and apply, after which it verifies connectivity to dell backend and allows you to proceed if all's good.
