CD drive

My Dimension's CD drive will not open. Any suggestions? Thanks. mesmcdowell

I had the same problem and was able to open the drive by using a paperclip, but it's like the drive is dead. No green light...doesn't close with the button or slight touch to the door. Any ideas? It's only about 6 months old! Thanks!

Open your system and redo the connections of the flat IDE cable at both the drive and the motherboard. Also check the power connector at the drive.
