Using dell inspiron15 R 5521, CD/DVD writter is functioning properly and dvds are getting detected, but not normal cds

Hi Ritznono,
Normally this is the sign of a bad CD laser. Unfortunately, you need to replace the drive.

Normally this is the sign of a bad CD laser. Unfortunately, you need to replace the drive.
