DATA TRANSFER
I JUST PURCHASED A NEW DELL COMPUTER. I HAVE A MASSIVE AMOUT OF DATA ON MY OLD COMPUTER THAT I WANT TO TRANSFER TO THE NEW ONE. MY ENTIRE AUDIO COLLECTION AND OTHER FILES. APPROX 60GIG. MY OLD HD IS FAT32 FORMAT THE NEW ONE IS USING THE XP SISTEM FORMAT. ANY SUGGESTIONS OTHER THAN TRANFERING DATA USING DVD-RW DISCS?

Please do not use capitals in posts
It implies you are shouting and makes your posts much harder to read.
Many people myself included will often ignore a post which is written in capitalsI have posted many times the four or five solutions to this issue. Mostly in the hard disk forum. These posts would be easily found with a search.Network, swap hard disk, USB laplink, CD burner, USB network, parallel laplink.Ceri

- You could temporarily attach the old drive to the new pc and copy files over
- You could attach both to a network and copy files
