Hi ...i have alienare mx14 laptop and i ran the diagnotics test and its displayed hard disk error. error code 2000-0151. hat does this mean? any chance i might save the files? i failed to back them up and have some very imp files in them. please help
I ran the diagnostics again and it is showing the same error. And my laptop is still covered by warranty. but before i replace the HDD i ould like to save my files to another ext hard disk. please help me out in this regard.
Remove the hard drive, mount it in a 2.5" external case (example below) and attach it to a working system - copy the files you can still read (you may be able to recover some or all of your data).
Once you follow the instructions given by ejn63 to back up all the data you can send me the system service tag via private message. I will check and let you know what needs to be done.
