hard drive problem
i own a dell 4700 series i just installed 3gb of 533mhz ram and a brand new 2tb western digital green secondary hdd had difficulty installing drive ( computer would not reconize it) with update to bios a10 was able to install it got everything running smooth about 1am went to bed when i awoke at 6am the computer had frozen upon doing reboot drive disappeared and was unable to reinstall it upon running testing i was giving error code 0f0:0244 please help thank you

New hard drives can be DOA.
Was it the Primary, or the secondary hard drive, that gave the error message?
Did you use Dell diagnostics extended test on the hard drives?

Error code 0F0:0244 indicates a failing/failed hard drive, you need to replace it.
