latitude e6400: Strange partition table.
I have a brand new e6400. Because i want a second partition so i dont have everything on a single partition (exp. for reinstalling..).
So I checked in vista the Disk managent. The harddrive has 3 partitions:
- 133 MB not mounted but has a status: EISA configuration
- 2 GB (RECOVERY, mounted as D: drive), i can browse this one
- 230,xx GB (OS, mounted as C: drive), this is the primary partition.
I have worked before with dell, but there was most of the time a hidden partition. So i keep wondering what this partition (D) does. Can i just delete it? I want to use the d: drive for my 2nd partition.
Thank you,
