Maximum supported hard drive size?

Dell XPS 8900 what is the maximum hard drive size supported by this system?

As shipped (Windows 10/UEFI), any current SATA drive you wish - of any capacity will work.

Can anyone answer this? I am trying to replace a third drive of 1 TB with a new 12 TB drive and the system will not boot. I have the latest bios for the XPS 8900.

Sono presenti due alloggiamenti per unità disco da 3,5". Se la configurazione di fabbrica include un'unità da 3,5", è disponibile uno slot di riserva.
