Spurious folder

I have just booted up my new Dell PC and the hard drive has a folder with a very long name (mixed letters and nos) and a subfolder named \sp2.    They appear to be empty but I can't delete them.   Are these Dell installed folders?

    The spurious folder resides on my C: drive.

    Thanks for using the Dell Community Forum.

    You should probably post this in the Software section under the operating system you are using.  Also, where exactly does this folder reside.

    They are leftover files from hotfix installations.
