DellSupportAssist
downloaded supportassist and installed it. I started it up runs for 10 seconds then closes. Tried reinstalling it and restarting but nothing resolves this issue.
Is there a solution?

I have a similar issue with SupportAssist.
Today, I tried to run SupportAssist (version 4.8.2.29006) to check for any updates for my Dell XPS 8950. It simply runs, and runs, and runs in an endless loop. So, I uninstalled SupportAssist and tried to reinstall it (SupportAssist | Dell US); however, the reinstallation fails. I even tried to install SupportAssist using "Run as administrator," however, that fails to install as well.
So, now I have a Dell XPS 8950 with no SupportAssist, and no way to install it.
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
