I am configuring an Open replicator session between a DMX and CX for hot Push and got all the zones and device file for pairing created. I dont have support for symsan to check if the devices are available on DMX. Is there a way to check that?

Do I need to register Symm FA on Clariion and any masking changes required on Symm. I can see CX SP ports logged on my DMX FA.
Can some one let me know if there is some masking or mapping required as I did not find enough documentation on this part except these few points in on one of the guides.

If the storage port for the source devices is running volume configuration

management (VCM) software (such as Volume Logix for Symmetrix or EMC

Access Logix™ for CLARiiON) or a similar software product, setup may require

granting permission to access the target device(s) from the target storage port. For

instance, on Symmetrix, you need to enable the control FA(s) to have access to the

remote storage array device(s).
