New Symptoms (3-5 days old) Dell Dimension 9100 (bought pre-used off Ebay over 1 year ago)

1. CTRL-ALT-DEL gives a error message saying "Task manager has been disabled by your administrator"

2. McAfee programs can't be removed in Control panel Add/Remove programs. "An error occurred while uninstalling the McAfee HTML dialog component." is what pops up.
3. Error saying "McAfee has detected a suspect file and recommends scanning" pops up randomly even after I purchased "Spyware Doctor" and had many infections removed.
4. Active X controls won't stay enabled in internet options/security
5. System freezes or is very very slow often.
6. Youtube.com videos can't be watched error saying "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player." I downloaded the new version but still no luck. (this may be related to #4.)

OLD symptom 12 months old
1. Desktop back ground pictures can't be seen or selected in "Properties" only Screensavers and color can be changed. Desktop pictures saved off websites can be seen when the computer is turning off otherewise the desktop is blank in whatever color selected.

OTHER INFO: If it matters...My McAfee subscription was bundled through my Comcast cable internet access while living in an apartment. I bought a house and went with ATT/Yahoo DSL service. I also recently purchased and installed "Spyware Doctor" for virus protection but still get pops, McAfee and Task manager error.

I'm all ears! Thanks for any help.
