Unable To Uninstall Mcafee Security Center and programs

Just went to try and uninstall Mcafee from my new Dell XPS 410 system running Vista Ultimate and nothing happens the Mcafee screen that comes up to select which Mcafee programs to uninstall just freezes after I select the programs.

    First, open your McAfee Security Center (icon in your system tray), and DISABLE each of the components that you have installed/running there.
     
    THEN, try to uninstall whichever McAfee programs you wish to remove.

    as of now mcafee hasnt released any tool for uninstalling mcafee product from vista though it has mcpr.exe for windows xp and that wont work for vista . so lets hope that they release a tool soon .

    Today (june 9th) I successfully uninstalled McAfee using the mcrem2.exe tool.
     
    I have a Inspiron 6400 with Vista Home Premium installed.
