Blocked Startup Programs update

Hi

I have started a new post although I have asked about this problem before so hope that is OK, just did not want to be overlooked.

I now know more about the program that is being blocked, I believe it is

Camera Configuration Application

Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatability Publisher

C:\Windows\OA009Cfg.exe

Anyone know what this is and how I should deal with it please.

BusyDee,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum,

Run a malware scan on your system. It appears that the C:\Windows\OA009Cfg.exe is malware.

Hi BusyDee, Use the free version of Malwarebytes HERE, it not bad. i have used it in the past.

Hi

Many thanks

AVG ran as usual 1 hour ago and no malware detected.

I have read that OA009Cfg.exe can be a false positive as I am clueless I am worried. Any suggestions please?

Can I run it as a one off? Can it run although AVG is up and running?

Ran the malware software (full scan) as suggested and no malware was detected.

What can I do now please, anyone any ideas please?
