I have a LG VX5200 verizon phone.  i just plugged it into a usb port on my computer.  my puter then detected new hardware and went out to get the drivers.  It found the drivers but then said that installing the drivers might permanently disable my computer or in the future.  Therefore I cancelled the install.  I havent had any luck trying to get my pictures on to the puter without getting the message above.  I have a dell 8300 running xp.  If you have any luck let me know and if I find anything i will do the same.  I just thought I might send this as a point of reference..  Carol
