Start Microsoft Word.
In the Word menu bar, click on File then Open and navigate to the storage location of
the WordPerfect file you wish to convert.
Word will open the WordPerfect file -- click on File, Save to save the file as a Word
document (a file with the extension .doc as opposed to WordPerfect's .wpd).
