Deleted Administrator

Hello - My grandson deleted my administrators on my computer and now I can't add other software or create a new adminstrator.  Is there anyone out here that would be able to help me figure out what I'm supposed to do to fix this?

Since Administrator is a built in account your grandson should not be able to delete the account. The system will not allow him to delete it.

Have you tried logging in with the username Administrator? w/ blank password?

The only alternative is a full reinstall of the system.

    Goodluck!

    savannahemily,

Boot to Safe Mode (start tapping F8 as the computer starts, then select Safe Mode from the menu that appears). At the Welcome screen press Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice. On the login screen enter Administrator as the user name and leave the password blank. If you are able to log on go to Start|Control Panel|User Accounts and establish a new administrator account for yourself (and password protect it). It would be prudent to assign a password to the Administrator account as well, to keep grandchildren at a safe distance.
