Did you buy the laptop from Dell or is it used?

I bought it from Best Buy new around Oct 2012... I didn't realize there was no Dell software on it until I started having Issues with it..

All I want is to bring this computer back to factory setting and the ability to do it again if need in the future... Can you help me or not??

You will have to obtain an actual installation DVD to reinstall Windows from scratch then.  If there is no recovery partition, then you have NO choice.  You could call Best Buy to see if they would cut you a deal on a system that had been wiped/reloaded before it was sold to you, but it will likely be easier and cheaper just to reinstall it yourself.

If still under warranty, you can order a replacement DVD here:

If not under warranty, you can call support and purchase a DVD (probably around $20).

Either way, you can download a "retail" ISO and activate using your Product Key (may require activation over the phone):

You can also purchase an installation DVD on eBay from time to time.  You could also borrow a Dell DVD for your version from a friend or for another Dell computer.

All vendors now ship with Recovery partitions. No physical discs

No, nobody can.  If your recovery partition isn't there, there is NO way to restore the partition or the system to factory condition.  You CAN however restore the system to full functionality by installing from scratch using an installation DVD ... THAT we can help you with.

well I just want it to work like it should... lesson learned I will never buy another Dell as long is I live...

We can help you get it working like it should - minus the recovery partition - WINDOWS (the important part) will work just fine.

Remember ... this is NOT Dell's fault.  Dell did not send the laptop this way to Best Buy - this is Best Buy's doing.
