Hi,

This morning I put the computer and look in the Automatic windows update:

"one update available 65mb to 427mb."

Clicked to update

"Downloading update 66.9MB in total."

Down load requires approximately 20 minutes.

Creates a restore point.

Now you will have to click yes to the "licensing agreement"

This will take another 10 minutes.

Now you will be prompted to restart the computer

You will see Installing Service Pack Stage 1 of 3  - --% complete. Do not turn off the computer

This stage 1 takes more than 15 minutes.

Then stage 2 will be installed.

Here after the computer restarts on its own and reach a "Black" screen for at least 2to 3 minutes. Do not panick. Do not stop the computer

Now it will continue with the Stage 3 of the installation and on completion takes you to your log on screen.

All in all it took me exactly 1 hour.

I am a single computer end user from home environment.
