Forgot password

I recently lost my password to the administrator account on this computer . There is another account, but it is a limited account. How can I recover my password without completely erasing my computer and re-installing the system? I had just did that and I really do not want to do it again. Please help!

    alkaline388,

Try using the System Administrator account. If you are using XP Home boot to Safe Mode. XP Pro can do this in Normal Mode. At the Welcome screen press Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice. On the sign-in screen that appears enter Administrator as the user name and leave the password blank. After you sign in you can go to Start|Control Panel|User Accounts and reset or eliminate the forgotten password.

This question should have been posted in the Windows XP Software conference but it's faster just to answer it here.

    Hi

I think it is a bad thing to tell how to break in to other computers.
