Help! Cant access bios..
I have an Dimension 3100 w/ xp. Cant access Bios...Tried F2 at start of remove all ipods and printer......
Can't start up with cd,. No boot from cd option

Thanks for responding.....i figured it out....i unplugged the hard drive then powered up.... went right into bios.... thanks for you help

Hello,
From what you write, I assume that Windows starts OK. You also tried booting the system from some kind of CD or DVD and failed.
'If', Windows does start and you have failed to access the BIOS ...
Keep tapping the F2 key as the system starts to edit the BIOS. If you just push and hold the keystroke will not be seen.
'If', Windows never starts look here and tell us what the different diagnostic lights have to say, along with any beep codes you may have
