Installing drivers

If I reinstalled microsoft windows xp, I would have to reinstall drivers for various hardware. I have all the drivers on a CD. My question is what is the general order that you follow when installing drivers for the very first time? What is first, second, third, etc? I have a desktop dimension series computer.

I haven't ever really heard a specific order, but here is what I do and never had any issues.

Install the ChipSet drivers first and then whatever.... I sometimes just install whatever I want in any order and everything seems to work great everytime too.

    Thanks
