Insufficient quota

Help..............I'm running XP at home, and over the past month the system has gotten sluggish, and now applications won't open or run, when I try to open, I get a pop up that says, Insufficient quota to perform this task. and you can't do anything...........It's predominantly seen on IE, outlook, and outlook express. If I reboot, it'll be okay for a little while, then does it again..

I'm running Norton works, virus definitions are up to date, temp files are purged off on schedule, and I've defragged. It still keeps coming back.

Also, I did a system restore, but am seeing the same thing.

Tech support had me change the registry value....... but it still doesn't help.

Has anyone seen this error, and have any suggestions. The system is only 20 months old, and I'd hate to trash it .. Thanks in Advance.

Is "Insufficient quota to perform this task" the exact text od the error message you receive?

    yes, the message is only

" Insufficient quota to perform this task"

No other buttons, or an okay box, you can only clear it my "X"ing out, or using the Task Manager to clear it, then the next time you try to Open any application, nothing happens.

    Have you ever seen this.

    Thanks
