Internet Explorer New Windows Always Maximized
When I start Microsoft Internet Explorer it always opens in a Maximized Window. All subsequent windows are also maximized.
I have tried resizing and closing many times using ctrl and shift click on the close button and via the File menu Close and the Blue E in the top left hand side - all of which options I have found suggested on the internet. They did not change behaviour. Each window seems to open to the size and position that was previously reset by resizing the window and closing but in a split second it expands to Maximized.
I have not been able to make a registry change that fixes this bad behaviour.
The same behavoiur is present on both machines I run. Using Windows XP SP2.
How to stop IE windows opening maximized or should we just dump IE? Perhaps this is an SP2 thing.
