Internet Explorer won't load

My internet explorer won't load from icon or programs. But will work if I go to my spyware and go to their home page. Any suggestions?

I think you need a spyware removal tool. Look here for avaialable spyware removal solutions. Also if you are not able to connect to the internet try Internet explorer repair methods.

    cajkaren,

Can you launch it if you double-click iexplore.exe in the C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder? If so, the shortcuts from All Programs and your desktop icon are corrupted. If not, you will probably need to reinstall IE (see this).

If most of the programs does'nt load then you do'nt just have an IE problem.

What you can do is click on Start goto Run and type sfc /scannow
Note: The Windows XP CD should be inside your CD Drive.

If this did'nt work, goto the Boot Device Menu by tapping F12 ( for other systems like I2650 taps ESC ) then select CD/DVD/CDRW or CDROM and press Enter. Then tap any key especially when you see the message on the screen that says press any key to boot to CD and Windows Setup will start. When you see the Welcome to Setup Screen, Press R to goto Recovery Console. If you are asked to select an Operating System just press 1 and you will be asked for an Administrator Password if you put in one the first time you got the system. If not, what you should see is a command prompt. Type chkdsk /p and press enter. Then type exit once it is done. Hope this can help you.

Better scan your system for spyware first before you do this =Þ

IE will load from my spyware program.  but it will not hold the home page. It has just question marks and reverts back to the question mark on it's own.  I ran three different spy ware removers. A  Tech from Dell has suggested that I need  to insert Windows cd and start computer prssing the  f 12 key

    Thanks
