Microsoft, Outlook express, spelling check error message

When I send an email, I get the following error message: "An error occurred while the spelling was being checked"
I checked the data base register and all seems OK.

    JADFW,

In order to spell check in Outlook Express you must have Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint installed. If you don't have some version of Microsoft Office or Works you will need to install a third-party spelling checker. There is one available here.

    JADFW,

In that case, I'll wager your spell check feature will appear as soon as you install this file which usually corrects the problem with Office 97.

Oh! yes one final question. Is there a custom spellchecker with this program?

Yes it did correct the problem with the spell checker. I am curious as to why office 97 or word perfect would not work in Windows XP. They are both 32 bit programs.

Thanks very much for the help.

Office 97 does work in Windows 97, it's only that for some reason that csapi351.dll is not installed when Office 97 is installed in XP. Corel's WordPerfect does not work with Outlook Express because it's sort of Microsoft's policy not to make another publisher's software compatible with theirs.
