Norton Antivirus upgrade prices
My Dell computer had Norton Antivirus installed when purchased in 2001(Windows ME) I have updated yearly thro Symantec. This year they are trying to persuade me to upgrade to 'Antivirus 2005' which I think I should - however the prices quoted thro Symantec are £49+(double USA prices), Dell even more expensive, Argos is £39, but I have noticed on the Internet you can purchase the same product from £16.99 upwards! Is there anyway I can check a Company out before purchasing this product, also is there any reason I should NOT purchase? Could the item be faulty ?
- You could save your self the expensive update by downloading AVG Anti-Virus instead. I use it on all my computers, and it does a real good job. Haven't got zapped by any viruses on either of the 3 computers it's running on.

I use Ghost from NSW 2003. I think that was the last time you could get Ghost with NSW. And you can pick up NSW 2003 for only a few dollars on eBay.- I use AVG Pro & am extremely pleased with it, but have bought OEM NAV 2004 for other users on eBay UK from this vendor - he's currently offering NAV 2005 for £16.49 + VAT. Last time I bought from him, I received delivery the next day - very reliable.

If you would like to go part way to 2005 from your current installation, you can purchase NAV 2003 from here for considerably less. I don't know whether they ship internationally, but they have a "Contact us" link which you can use to find out. I have done business with them in the past and they are a reputable company.
