Have you run a spyware remover, such as Adaware or SpyBot Search and Destroy lately? I'm thinking that might be the problem. It may also help to run a program called Window Washer, which searches your computer for unused temporary files and gets rid of them...i remember when i ran it for the first time on my Dimension, after a year of having it, it found about 4 gigabytes of stuff that wasn't being of any use, and was just wasting processor time and disk space.
