Product Registration Code???
Is it possible to find out what product registration code is for an Operating System load disk?
Here's the problem. I manage 3 Dell Dimension desktop machines. One of them needs a a total reload. The user has just thrown all their disks into a big cardboard box so what I've got is a choice of 3 different load disks. None are labeled and all look identical.
So which one is the right one?

I don't understand? If the other two machines are out there and registered to the m/s server won't the server report back that they are already registered, try again?thanks;raincitypeople

If all three XP Reinstallation CDs are Dell OEM product (and are the same version of XP--Pro or Home) they should be interchangeable. They are preactivated and normally you are not prompted for a Product ID during reinstallation.
