Hey, I've been running Vista/XP since I got my upgrade kit, and I've been loving Vista so far. One problem I have though, what's up with Quickset? Whenever I push the volume buttons, the normal meter thing comes up, ,but it also appears in the taskbar, which is kinda annoying. I would uninstall it, but it bothers me even more when I can't see the volume levels. Can someone help me out? I mean, even just a little sidebar gadget would be good. Thanks.
You are not the first one to complain about this. I have the same problem also. Dell even released a new version of QuickSet the other day, but it did not reslove this issue, for me anyway. I know of no solution. I say it's a bug in the QuickSet program.
