recycle bin

my recycle bin turned into a white sheet of paper type thingy. i emptied it and it went back to normal. i deleted something to test it and it turned back to the white thing. what is up? how can i fix this? it just started today. i rebooted but didn't change.

    Sometimes this happens for no reason. To correct it, right click on the desktop, select properties, Desktop, Customize, and select or reselect icon for Recycle Bin Full and save the choices.

    you cannot customize the recycle bin. i tried this already. when i have something in there, it changes it to a white sheet of paper. when i empty it, it goes back to the way it is supposed to look
