SD/HC Cards

Can I use a 4g SD HC card on a XPS 1210 running Vista RC1?

If vista detects and installs your SD card reader you can. Im using a 2gb SD card on mine.

I'm not sure the HC cards work just yet. It is probably something they can address in firmware though (could be wrong).

My XPS1210 is less than 2 weeks old and it can't read my 4GB SD cards.... I really hope they fix that in an upcoming firmware release...

I'm running Windows XP Professional, with SP2 and all updates installed. Am running the latest drivers offered on Dell that I can see for my M1210 (R105921). So far, I am getting by by just using a $3 SD USB card reader I picked up at ledshoppe.com . It just seems silly that I plunked down over $1500US 2 weeks ago for this thing and it can't recognize 4GB SD cards which are pretty standard now...
