startup screen

this might be stupid, but....the blue box that is usually located at the bottom of the startup screen is now vertical on the right side.  it was fine one night and then it just changed when i got on the following morning.  i've tried everything i can think off to put it back but nothing works.  any suggestions?

    Hi

    Do you mean the Taskbar?
Just drag it to the bottom of your screen. You will need to unlock the taskbar first.
To do this, right-click any open area on the Taskbar, then click Lock the Taskbar to clear the check mark
Then click on Taskbar and holding mouse down, just drag it back to the bottom
Go back and lock it again.

OMG!!! Aliens have invaded your system!!! GET OUT!!!

Oh, sorry, I mean just click and drag your toolbar (as it is called) from the side down to the bottom of the screen. You can put it at the bottom, top or either side.
